It's been a few weeks since we've updated since SO much has happened! As promised earlier, here are a few photos from our webmaster's trip to Ireland that might appeal to our customers!
This is a picture of "The Great Stalagtite." It is the largest known stalagtite in the Northern Hemisphere and measures about 23.5 feet long. It is located in Doolin Cave in Doolin, Ireland; a small town on the northwest coast of Ireland. Since all of us at Mineralistic as well as many of our patrons are big rock fans, it seemed fitting to give you a glimpse of a real stalagtite inside a cave!
This picture was taken underneath the stalagtite. Portions of it are "dead", but the dripping water from the bottom means that some parts are still alive and growing!
This is a picture of Drombeg Circle, an ancient Druid circle used for celebrations and ceremonies. It is located in a small town called Drombeg in the southwestern portion of Ireland. The hazy fog gives this picture an eerie effect! Hopefully our pagan patrons will appreciate this historic Druid location!
This picture is a bit clearer, but perhaps not as haunting. :)
Hopefully you all enjoyed that tiny little showcase of Ireland! Now back to business!
Over the last two weeks or so we have been receiving lots of shipments filled with TONS of new products. In the last week we have displayed brand new gargoyles, fairies, vikings, and skeleton-themed items. We are in the process of making these items available online...it will take a few weeks but be sure to check back to the website for new products!
For those of you who are bigger fans of our jewelry section, a bunch of new Amber pieces have been added to the display, as well as brand new silver Celtic earrings and bracelets! There has also been an update to the jewelry items available online. Check out the jewelry section yourself and see what we've added!
A big thank you to all those who came out to Mayfair in Collingswood! It was a busy day for the entire street and we appreciate your continued support!
In lieu of upcoming events, Father's Day is June 15th. Is Dad a history buff? Why not get him his favorite historical figure in Pot Belly form? Does Dad play chess? We have a wide selection of interesting and humorous Chess Sets that any chess player will appreciate. Don't forget about Dad!
We also have a very exciting even coming up in June...a Summer Solstice Party! More information is on its way, but be sure to keep an eye out for information and advertisements in the Philadelphia Metro. It's going to be a lot of fun!
